Ladakh Mountain Lodge
Ladakh Mountain Lodge is a traditional Ladakhi-style guesthouse in the green, apricot-shaded lanes of Changspa, just below Shanti Stupa. Thick mud-brick walls keep rooms warm at night, and the rooftop looks out on the snow peaks of the Stok Kangri range.
Our hosts understand altitude — expect butter tea on arrival, oxygen cylinders on hand, and gentle advice for your first acclimatisation day. Leh Main Bazaar is a 10-minute walk, and the team helps with Inner Line Permits and trips to Nubra and Pangong.

Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in.
50% of the booking value is charged for cancellations made 3–6 days before check-in.
Cancellations within 72 hours of check-in and no-shows are non-refundable.
Peak dates (Christmas, New Year, long weekends) may carry a stricter policy, communicated at booking.
Valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or voter ID) required for all guests at check-in.
Unmarried couples welcome with valid ID.
Children up to 5 years stay free without extra bed; 6–11 years charged as child with/without bed.
Smoking is not permitted inside rooms.
Outside visitors are not allowed in guest rooms after 9 PM.
Please rest for the first 24–36 hours after arrival to acclimatise.
Hot water is solar-heated; best availability 7 AM – 10 AM and 5 PM – 9 PM.
Room heaters available on request.
30% advance to confirm the booking; balance due 7 days before check-in.
Bookings made within 7 days of travel require full payment.
Payment accepted via UPI, bank transfer, debit/credit card and net banking.
GST as applicable is included in the quoted rate.

Beautiful traditional building, quiet garden and delicious apricot jam at breakfast. Wi-Fi is slow, but that is Ladakh!
