Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking a holiday with us.Last updated: 28 Sep 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings made with Wander Without Maps (referred to as we, us or our) through our website wanderwithoutmaps.com, by phone, WhatsApp, email or in person at our office. By confirming a booking or making any payment, you (the traveller or customer) agree to be bound by these terms on behalf of yourself and all members of your travelling party.

2. Bookings and Confirmation

  • A booking is confirmed only after we receive the advance payment specified in your quotation and send you a written confirmation by email or WhatsApp.
  • All quotations are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. Hotel rooms, flights and activities are not held until payment is received.
  • You must provide accurate names, ages, contact details and identity information for all travellers. We are not responsible for issues arising from incorrect information supplied by you.

3. Prices and Payments

  • Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise and include applicable taxes only where clearly mentioned.
  • Unless agreed otherwise, an advance of at least 30 percent is payable at the time of booking and the balance must be paid no later than 15 days before departure. For bookings made within 15 days of travel, full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Prices may change before full payment due to changes in government taxes, fuel prices, currency exchange rates (for Dubai and other international services) or supplier rates. We will inform you of any such change before it applies.
  • Peak season, festival and long-weekend dates may carry surcharges levied by hotels and transport providers.

4. Inclusions and Exclusions

Your itinerary and quotation clearly list what is included. Anything not specifically mentioned as included, such as personal expenses, tips, entry tickets, camera fees, additional meals, adventure activities, travel insurance and costs caused by events beyond our control, is excluded.

5. Travel Documents

  • All travellers must carry valid government-issued photo identification. Foreign nationals must carry a valid passport and visa.
  • For Dubai, travellers are responsible for holding a passport valid for at least six months and meeting UAE visa requirements. Where we assist with visa applications, approval is solely at the discretion of the authorities, and visa fees are non-refundable.
  • Certain areas, such as parts of Ladakh and the Andaman Islands, require permits. We will guide you on these, but you must provide the required documents on time.

6. Changes by the Traveller

Requests to change dates, hotels or itinerary after confirmation are subject to availability and may attract amendment charges levied by suppliers in addition to any fare or rate difference. A change of travel dates may be treated as a cancellation and re-booking.

7. Changes by Us and Force Majeure

We may need to alter itineraries, hotels or routes due to circumstances beyond our control, including weather, landslides, road closures, natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, pandemics or government orders. In such cases we will offer a comparable alternative wherever possible. Additional costs arising from such events, such as extra hotel nights or rerouting, are payable by the traveller. We are not liable for any loss or delay caused by force majeure events.

8. Hotels, Transport and Third-Party Services

We handpick our hotels and operate our own cab network, but some services such as airlines, ferries, trains, activity operators and certain hotels are provided by independent third parties. Their own terms apply, and while we will always help resolve issues, we are not liable for their acts, omissions or defaults. Hotel check-in and check-out times are as per property policy.

9. Traveller Conduct and Health

  • Travellers must follow local laws, customs, and the instructions of drivers, guides and hotel staff.
  • High-altitude destinations such as Ladakh carry a risk of Acute Mountain Sickness. You are responsible for assessing your fitness to travel and for following acclimatisation advice.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose behaviour endangers others or causes damage, without refund.

10. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellation and loss of baggage. Insurance is not included unless specifically mentioned.

11. Limitation of Liability

Our liability in connection with any booking is limited to the amount paid to us for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of personal belongings during the trip.

12. Complaints

If you face a problem during your trip, please inform our 24x7 support team on WhatsApp immediately so we can fix it on the spot. Any complaint after the trip should be emailed to info@wanderwithoutmaps.com within 15 days of your return.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh.
